Q. What process is involved in getting a deck with Terrasse de Luxe inc.?

 

A: Every deck project starts with an initial meeting with our sales team to see the lay of the land and to discuss what you’re looking for. Before the representative leaves they will give you a ballpark quote.

If you’re happy with the ballpark quote Terrasse de Luxe Inc. will provide you with your one free quote from which the contract will be drawn up and signed. This process generally takes 1-2weeks from the initial meeting, depending on the size of the project.

Terrasse de Luxe inc. offers a turnkey type of project in which we take care of all the planning and documents that would be necessary for your project.

Terrasse de Luxe Inc. will provide the client with a soft construction start date as we have no control over the processing times for each permit that is submitted to the various municipalities. This can vary from 24 hours-6 months on average. In rare cases, sometimes longer.

Once the permit for your project is granted, Terrasse de Luxe Inc. will provide you with a hard start date of when your project will begin. 

Q: How much do your ‘deck’ projects typically cost?

 

A: Many factors can influence the pricing of our deck projects. The size, materials, type of foundations, additional features such as stain, skirting, seating areas, etc..
Prices are an average based on our previous year’s projects and do not represent the exact cost of your future project, prices may exceed the table below.

Q: How much do your ‘fence’ projects typically cost?

 

A.    Similar to decks there are a few factors that come into play when pricing a fence project; Garden access for machinery, the length of the fence, how private you want the fence, material and staining. 
*** Something to take into consideration with composite fences and some hardwoods is that the fence is actually fenced with deck boards. If you have, a 100’ fence in length and 6’ in height, its 600sqft of deck boards, which is the equivalent to a 20’x30’ deck.

Q: How much do your ‘Quote’s, Plans and Permits’ cost?

 

Quotes – Terrasse de Luxe Inc. provides one free estimate on the day of the initial meeting and one free calculated quote for your project. Additional quotes and extra feature quotes have a flat fee of $50.00 per quote.

 

Permit fees – This varies from area to area. Terrasse de Luxe inc. will provide all necessary plans and documents for the client to be able to obtain a building permit. In our experience, permit times average a lot better when the client is the one applying. The fee is anywhere from 25$ to 400$ based on the municipality and size of the project. This fee is paid by the client when applying for the permit at the city hall.

Q. Do you offer financing payment plans?

A. We are happy to announce as of the 2024 season we are now partnered with "Financeit" and offering financing services for your dream builds.

Q. When can you start my Project?

 

A: Exact start dates are hard to give, as Terrasse de Luxe Inc. has no control over the processing times for each permit that has been submitted to the various municipalities. This can vary from 24 hours - 6 months, in unusual circumstances even longer.

Once your contract has been signed, you’ll be given a soft start date.

Once your permit has been issued by the city, Terrasse De Luxe Inc. will give you an exact start date and put you into the next available slot. This is our process with every client.

Q.How do I get Plans for my permit?

A. Terrasse de Luxe Inc. will provide you with the basic construction plans to obtain your permit, which is included with our service. In the event that your municipality requires architectural plans, don’t worry we got you covered and have an architect on retainer that can produce your plans. Additional fees may apply if architectural drawings are requested.
